Sollus began with a simple idea: understanding your finances should be easy, and sharing your data should be your choice.
I wanted a simple way to track spending without creating an account or connecting a bank. Something I could open, use and trust with the details of everyday life.
Financial records reveal a lot about a person's life. Where we shop, what we prioritise and how our circumstances change. Keeping those details private became a guiding principle for Sollus.
So Sollus starts with your device. You can record expenses without signing up, use the tracker without ads and export your records whenever you need them.
It shipped on Google Play in 2026, free and ad-free, in seven languages. Financial tools, receipt scanning and far deeper insights came later — and it still works with no account, on your device.

Your records stay on your device. This version has no accounts and no cloud sync, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Sollus saves records on your device first. On Android, you can keep tracking without an internet connection.
Recording an expense should take little effort. Clear screens and quick entry help make tracking a habit you can keep.
No fake urgency, no engagement loops, no notification you didn't ask for. If the app isn't useful, it should be easy to leave — exports are one tap away.
We explain how features work and where their limits are — including that your device is the only place your data lives, so losing it means losing the data unless you exported a backup.
Core tracking features stay free. Premium adds optional tools while your existing records remain accessible.
We are improving insights and planning tools while keeping everyday tracking simple and ad-free.
Optional accounts and opt-in Cloud Sync are planned, off by default, and described on the roadmap rather than promised here. You will always be able to keep using Sollus entirely locally.
Planned additions include a native App Store version, more detailed reports and automatic backups. Follow the roadmap for the current priorities.
